Located in the northeastern Caribbean Sea, the Bahamas are an English speaking country. When Columbus found the new world it was the Bahamas that he discovered. Originally settled by the British, the Bahamas have been an independent nation since 1973. Nassau and Grand Bahama Island are two of islands most enjoyed by those vacationing in the Bahamas.

The Bahamas enjoy the tropical climate and warm ocean waters from the Gulf Stream. Average temperatures in the Bahamas range from 68°F to 86°F every day of the year. Temperatures in the sea rarely fall below 73°F, meaning that every day is a great day to play in the water while in the Bahamas. Whether snorkeling, swimming or just floating in the beautiful blue Caribbean Sea, you will be sure to enjoy the warm waters of the Bahamas.

The island of Nassau is famous for its pirate history due to the legends of Blackbeard. Connected to Nassau Island by bridge, you will find Paradise Island. This has become the international getaway for celebrities, sports stars and travelers. Families enjoy the largest marine aquarium in the world and beautiful beaches. Home to exclusive shopping and premium golfing, Paradise Island, has become a playground for the rich and famous.
