The mere mention of a vacation to Europe conjures visions of the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben and the Coliseum for most. Wherever your European vacation leads, you are sure to encounter the amazing, and awe-inspiring. Sipping espresso in an outdoor cafe, browsing through art galleries or shopping for the latest trends, Europe offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in a new way of life. Throughout the European continent, travelers will have the opportunity to experience the unique histories and cultures of the countries they visit.

Visitors to London can take in the sites of the city from the London Eye, the world’s tallest observation wheel, which offers stunning views of the city. Make a quick trip to Buckingham Palace for a chance to spot the royal family, or relive the history of the royals at the Tower of London. Ride atop a double-decker bus, view the National Art Collections, or spend an afternoon in Hyde Park eating fish and chips. Of course London was also home to Shakespeare, so include a visit to the Globe Theater as well. And don’t forget to shop while in London! Home to some of the best shopping in the world, and the famous Harrods Department store, you will want to make sure you have time to see the shops before tea time.

Paris, called the city of love, is a city for romantics, artists, fashionistas and everyone in between. A trip to Paris would not be complete with out a visit to the stunning Eiffel Tower, but the Arc D’Triuphe and the Notre Dame Cathedral should not be missed either. Paris is often called the City of Lights and an evening boat ride along the Seine is a wonderful way to see the beautiful architecture of this amazing city. The Louvre Museum houses one of the largest art collections in the world, including the famous Mona Lisa by Leonardo DeVinci. But remember, it is just one of thousands of the museums and galleries this city of artists. One cannot forget that Paris is also home to some of the most famous clothing designers in the world and a shopping trip to the Champs-Élysées should not be missed. The cuisine of the French will not disappoint, and excellent restaurants and cafes throughout will tempt you at every turn.

Discover that the Renaissance is still alive and well in the Italy. Begin in Florence, where the city overflows with piazzas, fountains and statuary all in the majestic shadow of the Duomo, a breathtaking example of Gothic architecture. The capital of the Tuscan region, Florence is a wine and food lovers heaven, where crafting and enjoying a meal is truly an art form. A trip to Venice, the floating city, will amaze and delight. Take a gondola ride down the Grand Canal, while admiring the beautiful palaces that seem to literally rise out of the water. And one cannot leave Venice without a trip to Murano to see the beautiful Venetian glass created by hand.
